WHAT IS TCV CENTER FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION :
The TCV Centre for Special Education is a non-profit educational wing under the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) system. It was created with the exclusive mission to support children with diverse learning needs, including academic delays, physical disabilities, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and developmental disorders.
This initiative thrives under the kind support of Les Amis du Tibet – Luxembourg and the Ministry of Cooperation of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, who have helped make inclusive and holistic education accessible for Tibetan children in need.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION IN OUR COMMUNITY :
In every society, there are children who require special attention, alternative teaching methods, and therapeutic support to realise their fullest potential. These children deserve the same opportunities as their peers, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they are not left behind. Our centre recognises the right of every child to be educated, empowered, and included, regardless of the challenges they face. We believe that with the right support, every child can learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
By addressing these unique needs with care, dedication, and professional expertise, we work to uphold the dignity of every child and create equal opportunities for all. Our efforts promote integration and inclusivity, allowing children with special needs to thrive within mainstream school environments whenever possible. We also prepare our students for meaningful participation in society by equipping them with essential life skills, confidence, and independence. Moreover, our centre plays a vital role in educating the wider community, fostering compassion, understanding, and acceptance. Through collective awareness and support, we can build a more inclusive world where every child feels valued and empowered.
